I didn’t really like it.

Before u crucify me, hear me out.
WHY I DIDN’T LIKE IT
1. I sat the 5th row from the screen.
I was too close to the action. Granted, Mikaela was right in my face and looked like she was waiting for me to say ‘I love you’, and the college girl/transformer’s butt/blue panties were pointed toward me before she jumped on Sam.
But the giant vacuum cleaner robot’s metal scrotum was also in my face, and the fighting hurt my eyes.
2. There was too much fighting
seriously. It was really awesome for the first hour. But then there was too many robots all the time. The slow motion scenes were great, but the high-speed clanking around really got old for me. Again, this might be because of reason#1 (read above)
3. They overplayed Mikaela
I swear. I like her so much. But in this movie..Riding on her success too much? It made her look like a tool. Whoring her up. Some scenes were okay, but after awhile it was all slow motion bouncing boobs and zooming into her body. I dunno, it just sorta cheapens her. Not cool.
4. Very weak plot
The first movie had a more convincing storyline. The second one sounds weakly conjured up, with a Matrix and his brain having a map and “you can’t find the Matrix, you have to EARN it.” God. sounds like the story was written by a 10 year old. And like the storyline was shoved in between action scenes just for the sake of having a plot there.
5. I cannot understand what the Autobots are saying
Except for Optimus Prime, who actually talks coherently. The rest of them mumble, gurgle, and rush through their words WHILE other sounds creak and groan. I could only understand bumblebee in one scene, where everything was quiet.
6. It wasn’t funny
at least not as funny as the first one. The first one had some sort of charm, and to me, the second one didn’t. Some parts were downright lame, and I really felt like walking out of the cinema whenever the two robots (the twins) were on-screen. They annoyed the hell out of me and i can’t believe that was supposed to be some form of humor.
okay, to be fair:
WHY I LIKED IT
1. The action scenes/robot designs were beautiful
The slow motion fight scenes were awesome. The fast-moving ones made my head spin too much. The size of the robots and the detail were breath-taking. Kudos to the design/CGI team.
2. Mikaela
She’s out-of-this-world hot. She made me all-spark, got me all witwicky.
3. Optimus Prime was cool
He was better in this movie. True story.

I couldn’t stand it, it was soooo dumb. Made no sense whatsoever, everything was done for PURELY aesthetic reasons, and even the mechanics (excuse pun) of Transformers working with humans seemed pointless and wasteful.
And Sam and Mikaela’s life-threatening trek, on foot, across the desert, when you have (1) seemingly countless helicopters at disposal, (2) robot vehicles aplenty, and (3) a GIANT TELEPORTING ROBOT. Perfectly necessary, of course.
Carpet-bombing the area with the orange smoke. Upon zooming out, you discover the ENTIRE BATTLEGROUND had the orange smoke. Oh and worse, the carpet-bombing totally PULVERIZED all Autobots/Decepticons within range. Wow, I guess humans don’t need them robots anymore! We couldn’t just carpet-bomb the harvester? Or Allspark? Just. Ugh.
And worst of all? The whole ‘was I cheating or not’ part, and insisting the other person says the L word first? Retarded.
Hated it.

one more point.
Optimus in the movie is GAY.
1) Damn leggy
2) His blue eyes here are darn gay
3) Where is his God damned trailer?
4) He has a fetish for body paint.
5) He opens his mouth mask just to talk to someone. wtf.
6) He wields two fiery blades (god of war resemblance is uncanny). his primary weapon is his kick ass blaster which makes a 2 second cameo appearance in both movies. WTF!

you guys have given me about 10 more reasons to dislike it.
dont hate it…but 1st one definitely better….but i’ve always believed that having a lot of expectations before watching the movie contributes to alot of these…….just what i think la…..
i totally agree.. i like it coz i’m a fan but i really think that it could’ve been a whole lot better. couldnt agree more on the plot and on how megan fox was soo used for this movie. tsk tsk tsk

I will only say that the only thing which is funny “U mean i can choose not to be Decepticon? Ooohhh warrior goddess..take me…” **Humps on Mikaela’s left leg**
And this movie is not much of transformers but a tribute to the American Soldiers! If u do notice all the slow-motion of the US army running…. all the time….. argh…

hahaha i found the ’stupid midget decepticon’ quite funny.. just a tad tho.. but yea.. they made mikaela look like some bimbo blonde.. all the lame flirting on the phone… her body language especially at the beginning of the movie were all just so urgghh omg..
Yea not everyone seems to like it, but to me I still prefer the 1st one, this time Megan Fox is overused :0″
