27 04 2009Things aren’t at all like they used to be.
it’s oddly unsettling.
like the raw feeling your skin has just after you pull a bandage off of it.
or the weird feeling of a new toothbrush, which feels so peculiar and different from your old worn out one.
It all started since i got the job.
It’s only been two weeks, but it feels longer.
I actually wake up early and go to work dressed in an ironed shirt and wearing shiny black shoes.
I even take the bus.
This morning i sat beside a high-school student on the way there.
A high school student.
wasn’t I JUST doing the exact same thing? going to high-school, getting grades?
now it’s paperwork, an office chair, and having people say “Justin, your call on line2?”
how did life go all DVD player 16x fast-forward on me?
